Where would you go on a pilgrimage?

Posted on May 30th, 2008 by Michael : Editor in Chief Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 30, 2008:

At first, reading this question, I thought about all the amazing places I would love to visit. For example, Tibet, Middle Easten countries, Israel, Africa and many more. But then, it occured to me that we often put too much emphasis on traveling and going around the world to learn something or to try to make a difference.

I live in Cincinnati, OH; this city just like any other city has some amazing neighborhoods, while other areas of town are struggling. Instead of driving 15 miles to a neighborhood that can use my help, I want to spend 10 hours going to another country and helping there. Why do we do that? It might be great to brag about spending time in Tibet, but it shouldn't be about the bragging.
